This jumper was created using pink, black, white, and cream coloured chunky acrylic yarn. The piece was hand knit using 6.5mm circular knitting needles. Each panel was sewn together, with the ribbing added on as the final step. I created the lettering pattern and heart design, which was loosely based on traditional Scottish fair isle knit colour work, using graph paper. The pattern for the sweater was also self made. the colour choices were impacted as the cream coloured yarn was no longer being sold after running out, but was still a good experiment to expand my knitting skills.
