This was the third and final dress I created using my self drafted pattern. I found this green satin fabric in a charity shop and also had some scrap pieces of mesh star detailed fabric I wanted to use. Due to the limited amount of the mesh fabric I had I chose to use it on the top of the bodice as well as adding a ruffle at the hem to keep the design cohesive. I again experimented with using boning in the bodice and using a zipper as the back closure.
