I am a young Dundee based artist who has a specialised interest in textiles. I recently finished an HNC textiles qualification at D&A college and am interested in further expanding my designs and art into a career in the textiles/fashion and costume industry.
I primarily specialise in crochet and textile design, often combining crochet and fabrics in my designs. I also enjoy creating my own stamps and hand printing my fabrics to elevate my designs. I often design and create dresses, however I also enjoy creating various wearables and accessories such as bags, skirts and blankets. I usually spend my spare time crocheting, knitting or sewing, more often than not creating my own patterns or free handing my designs. I also love exploring colour and the many ways it can be used as an expressive tool to tell a story or communicate emotions through art and design.
